Cornmeal Waffles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Wholegrain wheat flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 13/4 cups whole milk
- 21/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1/4 tsp. sea or kosher salt
- 1 cup Wild Hive finely ground corn meal
- 1/4 cup cutter, melted
Beat together eggs, milk, butter, and honey. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly incorporate cornmeal.
Combine liquid mixture with dry mixture and blend until just moistened. Bake in well-oiled, preheated waffle iron.
Serving:
6 servings (about a dozen waffles)
